Discernment

Now that you have been activated into the realm of the prophetic one of the key components of embracing this sphere is to know that you now have Heightened Spiritual Discernment

Spiritual discernment simply put is having God’s insight or heaven’s perception on a matter. It is the divine enablement from the Spirit of God to be able to look beyond the temporal, carnal, earthly nature of a thing and peer over into the spirit to see the Truth of the matter. This is being able to see with God’s Eyes.

A prime example is found in 2 Ki 6:17 – “And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man: and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha”

In order to fully understand what God may show you in the realm of the Spirit, you must put forth a concentrated effort to have an inordinate grasp of scripture. In other words, you must be scripture heavy! The Word of God is our guide and our light.

When the Lord reveals truth, it is always tied to His Word. Apart from the Word of God, we can easily get off track The more Word you have on the inside of you, the more God can show you in the realm of the the spirit. The more understanding, wisdom and knowledge you will have concerning what He has revealed You will know how and what to pray for

A very important note is to know that the revealing of Truth is not for your amazement. Truth is revealed so you can first pray accordingly. Secondly, so you can seek God on His strategy concerning the situation

Remember The Following:

  1. 1 Write down and date what He is showing you
  2. Can you tie scripture to it?
  3. Ask yourself did the Lord reveal strategy for me to follow?
  4. 4 Ask yourself am I to do anything or simply pray?
  5. Did you pray accordingly?
  6. Be mindful to record any developments pertaining to this information
  7. Give God the Glory
