Hold The Mustard

In fact, hold the mayo, lettuce, and the tomato!

I’ll pass on all the above, but you can go heavy on the butter.  Hey! What in the world are you talking about, you ask?  Well, I’m talking about what I want on my bread!  Bread???? Yes…bread, .. “The Bread of Life.”  In John 6:35 Jesus replied,

I am the Bread of Life. No one coming to me will ever be hungry again. Those believing in me will never thirst.

Jesus is The Bread of Life.  Pure and simple. The Bread of Life is the pure unadulterated Word of God. There is a strict warning for us not to change this Word. We are not to change “the bread.” That means don’t add cinnamon, raisins or sprinkles.

I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;” Rev 22:18-19

“Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.” Proverbs 30:6

Man is the one who often wants to add his own private interpretation to The Word. Those with religious spirits often change it so that the Bible will speak and say things that it does not.  They change it so that it will say palatable and sweet things to get people to “eat it.”  It is like the concept of adding sweeteners to your bread, like.cinnamon, raisins and sprinkles.  You just can’t do that!

Or, how about adding so much mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes, (which we will call fluff), until you can’t even tell what you just put in your mouth! They changed the original flavor of the bread along with the meat of The Word. They altered the pure meaning of The Word.  Also, this puts people in the position of chewing and chewing and chewing through so much fluff and stuff until the original Truths of The Word is lost.  Whether it occurs through theatrics, drama, or ‘superfluous speech’, The Bread of Life becomes so distorted that people leave out empty and still unfulfilled.  This ought not to be the case!

Let’s try a little butter on that bread instead.  We know that Jesus is The Bread of Life, and if we eat of Him, we will never be hungry. Butter can be compared to the ‘Oil’ of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  Just like the olive oil that is referred to in the Bible often. This oil can be smeared on the Bread which will cause it to become more easily digested. It is the oil/anointing of The Spirit that gives Life. It is The Bread of Life and The Spirit together that is vital to help one eat the things of God easily.

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” – 2 Co 3:6

So, hold the mayo, lettuce, and the tomato! Leave all the fluff and stuff off of my bread, if you don’t mind!

Instead, I’ll take some butter on my bread… Please and Thank You!

An Apostolic and Prophetic View of God’s Process for Personal Growth and Ministry

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

According to the Scripture, Romans 8:28 says- “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”  The questions is, how do all these things work out to our benefit? God is a “God that declares “The End” from “The Beginning”.  However, we must understand that He is also a God of process. There is a process that takes from the beginning unto the end.
