“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” – Heb. 13:8
In a world where good is considered evil, and evil is considered good, it is a wonder people are confused. Laws are changing to suit the whims and trends of the current generation. Technology and social pressures are weighing down on people, pressing them to surrender to the current tide of opinions. Many voices are battling for recognition that their way, their truth is right. If one isn’t rooted and grounded in the things of God, by knowing God’s Word they could easily be swayed away from the admonitions found in the scriptures:
“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive” – Eph 4:14
Good people can be wrong about a great many things. Good people with good intentions can cause many to miss ‘the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus’. It is a very dangerous thing to follow after those who have left the True and Living Word of God to follow after the “voices” that lead them down the road to perdition. The road to perdition is the way of the damned. We are speaking of those who leave the doctrines of the Christian Faith, salvation in Christ alone; the new birth (“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” – John 3:7), and begin to preach another gospel. Let’s take a look at the scripture where Apostle Paul warns;
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” 2 Cor 11:3-4
“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” – Gal 1:6-9
If ever there was a day and an hour that we need to know the Word of God and what it actually says, this is that day.
One of the plans and strategies of Satan is to fool people into thinking that they are ‘Ok’ and that they don’t need a Savior. His ploy is to make them think that everyone will get to heaven just the way they are or by doing good works. If this were true, then the Redemptive work of The Cross and the shed Blood of Jesus was in vain. The Bible says, let God be True and every man a liar.
“ God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. – Rom 3:4
Years ago, there was a book published that was entitled, “You’re Okay, I’m Okay”. The concept of the book was simply put. According to the book, it didn’t matter how you lived your life, did what you wanted to do, and live your version of truth. Just ‘do your thing,’ and it was all ‘Ok’. You do you, and let others do what they want to do. We consider this a very misleading book title as well as a misleading myth that promises happiness without God. The Truth is that people are not ‘Ok’ without Christ. There will always be a ‘hunger’ for God within people until they come to know Jesus as their Savior. People try to fill that hunger with all many of substitution including sex, drugs, fame, food, greed, etc. The list is endless. People will always live beneath the promises of God when they are without the True and Living God.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are to hold fast to the Word of God and not look for shortcuts or backstreet side deals when it comes to our salvation. It should not matter how much ‘swag’ or how charismatic a person may be. No matter how much you love and admire someone, you must always remain aware and hold true to the things of God.
Do not allow charisma that some exude to delude you. It is very dangerous. As an FYI, Charisma is defined as a compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others. A charming way, a presence, a personality, a convincing force, a strength of character, one with a magnetic appeal, one who walks with allure and has a strong attractiveness. It also includes one who is divinely conferred upon with power or talent.
“…for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. (God doesn’t take back what he gives us) “ – Romans 11:29
Let us not be shaken or deluded by those who began in Truth but now turn away from the Truth to follow strange doctrines. Let us bear in mind that the enemy is also called ‘Beelzebub,’ the chiefest of devils, ‘lord of the flies.’ (Luke 11:15) Flies, spiritually speaking, are demons and they are constantly looking to infest areas where there has a wounding within one’s spirit left from a tremendous hurt or disappointment. Flies like to lay eggs in rotten things. Satan(Beelzebub) is always looking for a door of entry to a person’s life where there has been a spiritual or emotional wound. He wants to come in and deposit his demonic eggs and larvae of lies. God is no respecter of persons, and neither is Satan. He doesn’t care who you are, famous person, preacher, layman, saint or sinner.
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
“That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” – Th 2:1-3
Remember this from Heb 13:8:
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”
So, come Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, this month or next month, etc. and.etc. The Word and God’s Ways have not and will not change.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
According to the Scripture, Romans 8:28 says- “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” The questions is, how do all these things work out to our benefit? God is a “God that declares “The End” from “The Beginning”. However, we must understand that He is also a God of process. There is a process that takes from the beginning unto the end.
